These terms cover the Kura app for Mac and the kuramd.app website. Kura is made and sold by Erick Haendel Costa Fontes Martins Consultoria em Tecnologia da Informação Ltda (Haendel Developer), CNPJ 44.162.783/0001-85, Av. República do Líbano, 251, sala 2205, Torre A, Pina, Recife, PE, 51110-160, Brasil.
What you buy
Kura has a free plan, with up to 50 notes and 5 diagrams, and Kura Pro, sold as a one-time payment.
Kura Pro is a license to use the app on up to 2 of your Macs, with unlimited notes and diagrams and 1 year of updates from the purchase.
After that year, the app keeps working forever on the last version included. You only stop getting new versions. Critical security fixes reach everyone who bought it.
Renewal is optional and adds 1 more year of updates. There is no subscription and no automatic charge.
Payment
Payment is handled by Dodo Payments, which sells Kura on our behalf and takes care of the charge, taxes and receipt. When you buy, you also accept Dodo Payments's buyer terms, shown at checkout.
The price is shown on the site and at checkout, in your currency when available.
The license
The key arrives by email right after payment. You activate it in the app, and it stays on your Mac, working even offline.
The license is personal and can't be resold, shared publicly or used on more Macs than you bought. You can release a Mac from the app to use the license on another one.
The license is only cancelled after a refund or a payment dispute you lose.
Your data and AI
Your notes stay on your Mac and, if you want, in your iCloud. We have no access to them.
Kura can connect to AI assistants you choose, such as Claude or Codex, using your own account with them. What those services do with data follows their terms. In Kura, you decide what the AI may read and change.
Acceptable use
You may not copy, decompile or modify the app to get around the license, or use Kura for anything illegal.
Warranty and liability
We work hard for Kura to run well, but it is provided as is. Keep backups of your notes.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here reduces your consumer rights.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Important changes will be announced on the site. The version on this page is the one in force.
These terms follow Brazilian law, with the courts of Recife, PE, Brazil, without prejudice to the courts of your home when you are a consumer.
